The first home plates used were not made of rubber but of stone, iron, or wood! The use of rubber was invented by Robert Keating around 1887! The Home Plate Framed Monogram Letter comes unfinished and can be decorated to suite you. All products ship within 24-36 hours. Our unfinished wood cut-outs are crafted of a high quality cabinet grade MDF. All products are cut in-house on our CNC routers and are hand-sanded to smooth to touch. We recommend using an acryllic paint on our unfinished products. These can be bought at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby and other stores. A keyhole mount is provided for items 12" and larger. We recommend command strips for smaller cut-outs.
